McFarlane Toys
Todd McFarlane, a comic book creator, artist, writer, filmmaker, and entrepreneur, is best known for his work as the artist on The Amazing Spider-Man and as the writer and artist on the superhero horror-fantasy series Spawn. A few Spawn action figures include:

In 1994, McFarlane created a toy company, now known as McFarlane Toys, initially to merchandise collectible action figures of the Spawn characters. In three months, the company sold more than 2.2 million of the action figures nationwide. In 1999, the company sold over 6 million action figures, making them the fifth-largest action-figure manufacturer in the United States to date.
The company's line of figures quickly expanded to those of pop cultural icons from movies, comics, music, video games, and all five major North American sports genres (baseball, football, basketball, hockey, and stock car racing). Some pop icons include:
- Band members from KISS and The Beatles
- Characters from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre
- Destiny 2’s Zavala
Before long, McFarlane Toys began making action figures for a wide variety of licensed lines, including The Simpsons, Freddy Krueger, The Walking Dead, Harry Potter, and many more.
Five Nights at Freddy’s
One of McFarlane Toys lines that became a hit is Five Nights at Freddy's. Five Nights at Freddy's is an independent survival horror franchise that began as a video game and quickly gained worldwide popularity. The game series puts you in the role of a security guard that keeps watch at night at a local pizza place. The objective is to stay alive until the morning and ultimately to survive five nights in a row at the pizza establishment.
From action figures to plushes and construction sets, there’s something for every fan. Some of the merchandise include:

DC Collectibles and Action Figures
McFarlane Toys secured the rights to produce 6 to 12-inch collector figures of various DC Universe comic, movie, and video game characters after Mattel lost the right to produce at the end of 2018.

- Superman Bizarro Rebirth is based off Bizarro's look in Superman #42
- Nightwing Joker is based on a variant cover of New 52 Nightwing #16 comic book
- Wonder Woman (Last Knight on Earth) figure is based on the comic book Batman: Last Knight on Earth #1 (Comic 2019)
McFarlane Toys might not rule action figures like it once did, but its impact can be felt in toy aisles and the online market from all around the world.
